Short Break

After such a long hiatus without any break, I finally went for a short escapade to Kota Kinabalu. It was an on the spot decision, without any pre plan whatsoever. I was early to the LCCT airport, not knowing how many hours I should be there. Yeah, it has been so long since I fly domestically and imagine my chagrin when I was early by more than one and a half hour.

My flight was scheduled for 6.50am and i was already bumming around as early as 5am in the airport. I checked in, in less then 30 seconds as I wasn't carrying any luggage. The flight was pleasant enough, as the plane screams across the sky with the first break of sunlight appearing on the horizon. I had my trusty ipod to keep me company, as i gaze out from the window, the interplay of lights and color vibrantly making the whole spectacle surreal.

I reached KK International airport right smack on schedule. Immigration was a breeze, I offered my passport to be stamped and i was out in the lobby in a jiffy. Now comes the hardest part, where to go....
