Tabloid Anyone?

I am a voracious reader not to mention that I pride myself of having keep abreast with the current issues that is plaguing our daily lifes and what is happening arond the world. After a hard days work I reached home yesterday and I as per usual turn on the TV. I had the shock of my life when I saw the "wedding" of the century.

Equally disturbing was the airing 'live' of a reality show that has been the talk of the local dailies for the pass few weeks. But seriously why the charades? A breakup televised nationally? My, what has this country descent into? The PITS? Why would I, want to know who married who and who split with who? My time would be better spent, reading a nice book over a cup of coffee.

The fact remains that malaysians as such are suckers for tabloid. It's human nature to see what their favourite celebrities are with and what they are currently doing. I think these are best left to those "specialised" tabloid materials. But on National televised "live"? I was appalled not to mention that it gives a bad taste to my mouth.

Well I for one will never ever let my private life television to the public. I would feel naked and the very fabric of my personal life, intruded. Yucks. I cannot imagine what are going in the minds of people like this. But I reckon I would never know.
